At Peñascal Kooperatiba, our mission is to integrate people, especially those in disadvantaged situations. To this end, we work on their training and professional qualifications, job creation, and fostering attitudes and values of solidarity and citizenship.
We are a non-profit, social initiative, declared a public utility organization founded in Bilbao in 1986. Our purpose is to integrate into society people who are in a situation of or at risk of exclusion due to various personal, academic, or social circumstances.
We promote professional qualifications, with values and attitudes of responsibility and solidarity, so that people can be independent and active participants in their own lives and in society.
We serve people who need a positive change in their professional, personal, and social skills, helping them find motivation and accompanying them on a comprehensive journey to live integrated lives in our society.
We operate several training centers in different areas of the Basque Country and Navarre, where students from 14 years old to adults up to 65 years old learn. In our training spaces, people learn from the educational system (vocational training, adult basic education, and supplementary school programs), or participate in vocational training for employment or in actions to improve their personal and employment situation throughout their lives.
In addition to our training activities, we are committed to employment. We actively collaborate with Employment Services, provide job guidance, and act as intermediaries with companies to help users find employment.
Also aware of the need to contribute to generating wealth in our community, we create and manage social integration companies that respect the organization’s values and style.

We promote the social and occupational integration of the most disadvantaged individuals through professional qualifications and basic training. - Training:

- Job search:
- Guidance Service. Helps you develop a personal plan for job placement.
- Employment Centre, where you can access all the information about job offers and use the resources that we put at your disposal.
- Learning to work:
- We are committed to bringing our itineraries closer to the labour market and facilitating access to it.
- We promote Dual Training, and we maintain close collaboration with companies in our environment while supporting entrepreneurship and self-employment processes
- Insertion Companies:
- We want to generate wealth and employment in our environment and we want to do it with respect for our values and our style. For this reason we promote insertion companies, so people at risk of exclusion or with difficulties accessing employment can have an opportunity.
