We are an entity declared of Public Utility by the Basque Government.

We are a non-profit public utility organization that has been operating in the Basque Country since 1991, when we established a shelter for male drug addicts.

In 1992, the Bishopric of Bilbao lent us the Triano house for vacations and workshops, and in 1993 we created a shelter for women with the same characteristics as the men’s shelter, changing the location of the latter in 1994.

In 1995, we participated in the European HORIZON Project, a socio-laboral project, opening the ABEDI EGOITZA Day Center the following year and launching an integration project in 1997.

When the Horizon Project ended in 1998, the Integra project began, resulting in the Mobile Unit. Beginning in 1999, with the signing of an agreement with the INEM (National Institute of Statistics and Emergencies), the Day Center, Mobile Unit, and Integra projects were strengthened.
